Ribbon-cutting ceremony marks a major milestone in bringing high-speed connectivity to the Uvalde community
Last week, under beautiful Texas skies, Resound Networks officially celebrated our arrival in Uvalde with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Uvalde Chamber of Commerce. The event marked more than just the launch of a new service area—it represented a significant step forward in our mission to close the digital divide and bring both connection and community to the people of Uvalde.
The celebration brought together local officials, business leaders, healthcare representatives, and community members for an afternoon focused on connectivity and its transformative potential for Uvalde. After a warm welcome from the Chamber of Commerce, attendees enjoyed:
“Today isn’t just about launching internet service—it’s about bringing genuine connection to Uvalde,” said Adrienne Ryholt, External Affairs Director at Resound Networks. “We’re proud to become part of this community and deliver on our promise to provide both exceptional connectivity and hometown service that puts people first.”

The event was attended by numerous distinguished guests who share our vision for connected communities, including:
Greg Conte, whose leadership at the Texas Broadband Development Office has been instrumental in expanding internet access across underserved Texas communities, shared insights into the state’s broadband initiatives and how providers like Resound Networks are essential partners in this mission.

Our signature blue trucks were on full display at the event, representing what we call our “Blue Truck Promise”—a commitment to service excellence symbolized by our distinctive service vehicles.

“When you see our blue trucks in your neighborhood, it represents more than just internet service,” explained Adrienne Ryholt. “It’s our visible promise to provide responsive customer service, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to the communities we serve.”
As part of this commitment, Resound Networks is proudly providing free high-speed internet to the Uvalde Chamber of Commerce, supporting their important work as a community hub and resource center.
