How is Resound’s high-speed internet different from satellite internet?

Unlike satellite internet, which beams signals from space, Resound's fiber-fed, fixed wireless signal comes from a local tower, greatly reducing latency and weather-related issues. That means faster load times, smoother video calls, and better performance for streaming and gaming, often without the data caps or delays that come with satellite.

Do I need a phone line or cable connection to use Resound internet?

Nope! Resound doesn’t require a phone line, cable hookup, or even a traditional fiber line to your home. All you need is a clear signal path from our nearby tower to the receiver we install at your location.

What kind of equipment is installed at my home?

We install a small outdoor antenna or receiver—usually mounted on your roof or exterior wall—and a router inside your home. This equipment connects to the nearest Resound tower and powers your in-home Wi-Fi with strong, reliable service.

How soon can I get installed after signing up?

In most cases, we can schedule your installation within just a few business days. Availability may vary slightly depending on your location and demand, but our team works quickly to get you online without the long waits you’d expect from the usual suspects.

Do I need to be home for installation?

Yes. Someone 18 or older will need to be present during the installation to give our technician access to your property, review setup details, and make sure everything is working properly before we leave.
